The 2022 Distance Teaching & Learning (DT&L) Conference will be held virtually August 3-5, 2022. UPCEA is proud to present the 2022 DT&L in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Since 1985 the annual Distance Teaching & Learning Conference has provided a welcoming and transformative professional development experience for individuals working in the field of distance and online education – from faculty and instructors to instructional designers and administrators. The program focuses on addressing the rapidly changing online and technology enhanced learning landscape with the most current topics, technologies, and innovations that inform best practices.

**If you purchase the Organizational Group Pass, select which tier will cover the number of people you want to attend from your institution: Up to 5; up to 10; or 11 to 100. You will receive a promotional code to complete gratis registrations included in the tier selected. Each Organizational Group Pass can only be shared amongst staff from the same school/organization. If you end up having more than is covered by the tier you initially selected, please contact us at info@upcea.edu or 202-659-3130 to adjust your registration to a higher tier.
All Organizational Group Pass purchases and registrations via Group Passes must be completed by July 29. Institutional Pass purchases and registrations will not be accepted after July 29. Individual registrations for the conference will continue to be accepted through August 2.
To attend the 2022 DT&L Conference and take advantage of the Early Registration Fee, you must fill out the online registration form and pay the registration fee by June 8, 2022. The Regular Registration Fee will apply beginning June 9, 2022 and ending July 6, 2022. To attend the 2022 DT&L Conference and take advantage of the Regular Registration Fee, you must fill out the online registration form and pay the registration fee by July 6, 2022. The Late Registration Fee will apply beginning July 7, 2022. Payment for the full amount of the Late Registration Fee must be made by August 2, 2022.
Refunds All registration cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing. Full refunds will be granted for cancellations received by June 8, 2022. A refund of the conference fee, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received between June 9 – July 6, 2022. No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations after July 6, 2022. Please submit all requests to Jacqueline Romero at jromero@upcea.edu. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute from the same organization. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Please note that all cancellation fees apply even if initial invoice has yet to be paid.
Conference Privacy Policy Attendees of the 2022 DT&L Conference grant UPCEA a non-exclusive worldwide right to reproduce, distribute, any part or all of the webinar presentation, including any written or audio/visual material submitted in connection with the presentation, in whole or in part, in any media, including any audio or video recording of the presentation. You hereby consent to UPCEA’s use of any name, photograph, image, presentation, or portions quoted or derived from the presentations. You also understand that the event in its entirety and/or portions thereof may be published via podcasts, webinars, and other printed or electronic media and by registering and agreeing to terms and conditions, you are consenting to all such derivative uses. Affiliated Events Policy Corporate member and nonmember attendees are prohibited from holding any meetings (briefings, seminars, etc.) targeting professional, continuing, and online leaders in higher education who they know will be attending the UPCEA event, and utilizing our name and likeness to do so, unless otherwise negotiated and scheduled with and by UPCEA.
UPCEA reserves the right to prohibit corporate member and nonmember attendees who violate this policy from exhibiting or participating at UPCEA events.
