Description
How do leaders in professional, continuing, and online education engage those beyond their institutions -- in corporations, government, professional associations, and community -- as partners and stakeholders? This course explores the range of models for external partnerships as ways of exploring and securing new opportunities and markets. Unlike other academic leaders, the PCO leader engages a wide array of industries and sectors in a variety of ways.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for senior leaders in higher education administration, particular those who lead PCO units who would like to learn more about what it means to be an ambassador for their institution; from negotiating partnerships, to building relationships with the community.
Format and Schedule
This is a four week course consisting of about five hours of weekly course work made up of readings, asynchronous activities, and a weekly one hour live class meeting via Zoom. The schedule for the live class meetings is:

Cancellation Policy: Registrants who request cancellation by 5:00 pm EST on the Friday after the course begins will have the option to transfer that registration one time to a colleague at their institution or to any other Online PD course offered within six months of cancellation. If no suitable offerings are available within six months at the time of cancellation, registrants can request a refund of their registration fee minus a $50.00 administrative fee. No transfers or refunds will be available after the first week of the course. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to pd@upcea.edu
