Primary responsibilities:
- This position will provide primary oversight of all WSE non-degree/non-credit educational programs
- This position will work closely with the Vice Dean of Graduate Education and the Associate Dean of Engineering for Professionals master’s degree programs to develop strategies and plans for expanding the offerings at the Whiting School
- Assists with discovery, planning and implementation of new non-degree programs, working closely with on-campus and industry partners
- This position will monitor the progress of such programs and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors as needed
- Assists with the establishment of program budgets for all programs Assists with onboarding new faculty for these programs as appropriate
- Handle other appropriate matters as assigned by the WSE Executive Leadership Council.
Qualifications:
- MS or PhD degree, Doctorate Degree preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with MOOC education platforms
- Experience working with executive management in an executive-level office
- Experience working in an institution of higher education preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise discretion and mature judgment and manage multiple priorities at once
- Strong organizational, collaboration and management skills, including planning, project management and supervisory skills
