Course Title: Understanding the Adult Learner and Other PCO Constituencies in Professional, Continuing, and Online Education
Course Description: Who are the constituents and stakeholders that compose the ecosystem of Professional, Continuing, and Online Education? What are the unique characteristics and educational needs of adult learners? How do the characteristics of the student market determine how programs are designed and delivered?
This course examines prospective student markets and how to address their educational needs. This course also examines the roles of employers, communities, and government agencies in creating educational opportunities.

Cancellation Policy: Registrants who request cancellation by 5:00 pm EST on the Friday after the course begins will have the option to transfer that registration one time to a colleague at their institution or to any other Online PD course offered within six months of cancellation. If no suitable offerings are available within six months at the time of cancellation, registrants can request a refund of their registration fee minus a $50.00 administrative fee. No transfers or refunds will be available after the first week of the course. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to pd@upcea.edu
